The Arizona Bicycling Summit is an annual event that serves as an important platform for leaders, educators, planners, advocates, public health professionals, event promoters, and cyclists of all kinds to discuss current issues related to bicycling in Arizona. This summit plays a pivotal role in promoting sustainable transportation, recreation, and fostering cycling-friendly communities.

Parking Info (#parking)

Vehicle Parking

  • Mesa parking enforcement has made the lot north of the Jimmy John’s (and adjacent to the ASU-MIX Center) available for all-day parking. There are approximately 50 spaces available on a first come-first served basis.
  • The lot at W 1st St and N MacDonald St has an additional 80 spaces. (an 8-minute / 0.4 mile walk according to maps)
  • Along the light rail corridor, there are two Park and Ride lots: Sycamore & Main and Mesa & Main. There is a light rail stop (Center & Main) directly in front of the Plaza Park and the ASU-MIX.
  • Many other surface parking spaces are available but be mindful of posted use or time restrictions.

Unwind after the Summit at the Pedal Haus, 201 W Main St, located just ~ 1/2 mile west along Main (see parking map).

 

Week Without Driving?(#wwd)

Join us for a workshop led by Anna Zivarts the evening before the Summit for a FREE event to learn about organizing a Week Without Driving in your community.  The event is next Thursday, April 3rd in Tempe and online.  Registration is available at the following link: RSVP: April 3, 2025 Workshop
