Overtaking Bicycles and Arizona’s Three Foot law

Motorists overtaking bicyclists in the same direction must do so at a safe distance of not less than three feet. This applies on all streets in all configurations regardless of the position of the bicycle, or the presence or absence of a bicycle lane.
