Detective Christopher Arvayo
I ask that you reconsider your obligation to site the driver of the oversized vehicle that hit and killed cyclist Linda Cleapor on September 12th at
Dobson and Baseline Roads in Mesa. Arizona Revised Statute 28-735 - better known as the 3 Foot Law - clearly states that bicyclists be given three
feet of clearance when passed. It is apparent from statements that the oversized load did in fact hit Ms Cleapor and caused her injuries that resulted
in her death.
